Its just to darn cold to go outside, and these are my daughters show chickens to pick out of for fair. There will be a chicken clinic in Wapakoneta the 2nd weekend in March. I believe a swap and also a flea market type thing. Its $5.00 per child. I will be taking a few chickens there. Nice to know everyone in Ohio is as crazy as me!!!

Welcome! My city home is in Kentucky. My chickens are at my weekend home in Amelia! So I guess I am half a Buckeye , other half ridge runner LOL

Hi, Inkheart. I have a breeding pair of seramas that havent been laying for awhile. Its just too cold here right now. Im just glad that they are outside without any heat source. Hopefully they start up soon. I have a beautiful frizzle boy white and black in with a black mottled smooth girl. I currently have 8 of their babies. Well some of the roosters are crowing already. LOL! (so not really babies) If your interested I can send some pics. I have 2 frizzle pullets, a blue or dun mottle girl, and a wheaten colored pullet. The boys are 2 black mottled, and a columbian patterned one. I have a black frizzle one but he is already sold. Just to cold to ship anything yet. I bought my starter pair off of a lady who breeds them and shes the one who is buying the frizzle boy back so I am very honored!!!

That is great! I would LOVE to see the pics of them! There is a thriving Serama thread on here with a link to the Serama club - lots of info and of course lots of knowledge and great pics!

I don't know what's going on around here but our girls are laying like crazy! Up until 2 wks ago we'd get maybe 6 or 7 eggs a day (from 17? hens) and now we're getting 12 or more. It's colder than a witches t*t, we haven't changed any feed, the water freezes overnight. What gives?! I finally get to eat some eggs instead of saving all of them to sell to our regulars
