OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I know someone that might want her.  Let me check.  What's wrong with her leg?

The thigh/hocks is bent the same way as her left leg and im not quite surenwhats wrong with her ankle but its kinda swollen and feels weird. Shes a sweet pea and closes her eyes when you rub her muffs.
One thing I can say is that the leg is bending to the right at almost 90*and as i was testing it, i folded it to her chest and her shanks were on the outside of the hock..... I can attempt to get pictures later.
She eats and drinkz and somehow gets herself around, but she cant walk because of the leg and hops on her left and flaps her wings. She could stand and walk when she was a chick, but it somehow got worse. She was just weaker than the rest...and still has fragile legs.I feel like it popped out of its socket at the ankle and healed wrong. Almost like she has two left feet.

If she hatched that way it is probably a severe spraddle leg. If you splint it as soon as it is noticed, you can sometimes correct them, otherwise they get worse. If she's a month old and is not infected from any injuries, is just let her live it out like your trying to. She may or may not make it to adulthood.

Please send prayers, my Hubby had a freak four wheeler accident and was taken to OSU.He is home now but has a way to go still. He has a fractured temperal lobe (sp), bleeding in his ear, broken collar bone, road rash badly and his face surgery was 4 hrs long to repair the damage. Thank you all and I will try to read up on the thread when I can. Prayers to you all facing hard times and hope your flocks are well.

She was born with fragile little toes that soon curled. She wasnt keeping up with the others and I think she , may have got trampled and thats why it got worse and she might have twisted or broken her ankle and it healed wrong. Im pretty sure she was the one born a sticky chick.

Here are pictures! Poor thing was clinging to my foot with her good leg.
