Hello Ohio!
I am new to this cite and so happy to learn more! I wanted to ask all you wonderful people what i should do. My family and I bought 8 chickens in march. We wanted hens because we are so close to neighbours, we didnt want to be rude with roosters crowing.
Well, we ended up with 2 Dominique roosters. I understand when buying chicks its never guaranteed. We have raised them and love them. I do not want to give away to be eaten. I want to find a good home for the 2 roosters. What do I do? Does anyone want or know anyone who would love these guys? They do not fight w one another and one is a crower to be honest.
Thank you for any and all suggestions and help!

Where in OH are you located?

I am located in the Northern Part of Ohio. I saw there is a buy/sale/trade part of the cite. I just want to find the Dominique roosters a good home. Not looking for any compensation.

Anyone have silkies for rehoming or sale near South East Ohio area. I'm very close to West Virginia too, if anyone knows of someone. I'd like to have a cockerel/roo and possibly add some more girls too.

I have some straight run young teenage Silkie-Cochin crosses (75%, 25%) that I don't necessarily need if you can't find any. I bought them because 1. Chicken Math, 2. To brood with guinea keets, 3. Chicken Math, 4. To be future feathered incubators, and 5. Chicken Math. But since my current poultry count is somewhere around 80-85 and I've got a broody Golden Comet sitting on eggs, I'm sure my husband would jump for joy if I rehomed some lol.
