Whereabouts are you located? I may have a couple of nice cockerels that I'm not allowed to keep. Hoping they surprise me and end up being female but we'll see, they're almost 8 weeks old and a little too cuddly and have more pink around their combs than I'm comfortable with. They would be speckled sussex and cuckoo marans, 1 of each.

Im 15 minutes away from Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

As mentioned before, I'd be willing to take in chickens/ducks/goats/donkeys, no matter what gender they are. Just looking to make sure they can live out their natural lives normally.

Just bought a shed, big enough to accept 20 more chickens, and am in the process of prepping the build area.

Knobby you are such a Godsend to this site willing to take all of these unwanted animals. Bless you for your kindness towards them and your ability to do so.

I know how you feel. I have three beautiful drake ducks and just looked up to see how far Knobby is from me. It's 132 miles one way and my cars are not new so I am not sure how they would do on a road trip that far. My other alternative is a friend that feeds his family with them. I like Knobby's setup a lot better.

Alexandria!! If I end up with cockerels and Knobby is willing to take on all of our poor guys, I would be happy to take your drakes up there for you! It would be a few weeks though before I know for certain, not sure how soon you would need them gone.

Thank you so very much. You are not that far from me!!!! If my Husband's friend does not come to get them then I would be sooooo happy to see them go with you. I have not heard back from him so he possibly is not worrying about getting them anyways. I have to go back to work the first week of August and I would like them to be gone by then so I can let my younger females out of their smaller areas without worrying about them getting attacked by the drakes. I really appreciate your offer.
