OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

How's everyone doing today? Other than being stung 5 times, by yellow jackets yesterday, and going through anaphylactic shock, I've been doing well. Haven't been here in a while and just wanted to say hello!
Sounds like someone needs to find that nest and avenge your honor!!!! I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you! BTW all of my chicks ended up being hens... The two I was 90% sure were cockerels are both gorgeous, friendly ladies. Looks like I've got no roo-dar.

So happy you got Hens. I seem to be jinking myself, I buy a duckling and then give it a male name and it turns out to be a male. I need to change my names for them when I buy them. lol

Oh I know where the nest is at. It's at the edge of my pond. I hit it with the tractor bucket as I was enlarging the pond area and disturbed the hornet's nest..hehe. I was gonna pour gas on it and light it up, but like I said, it's at my pond and I don't want gas to leach out into it. Guess I'll use one of my flame torches and have fun with it this weekend.

I live in Vandalia, OH . . .in Montgomery County. We are just north of Dayton. Just wanting to see how many Ohioians are chicken "farmers".

I’m in Portage County in Suffield, close to Kent. No chickens yet, but I have two 7 week old Perkins. Hoping to convince hubby to get chickens in the spring. Go Buckeyes!!
