OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I bet that removes snow from your driveway in a hurry
You know how long my driveway is...took me less than 30 minutes to clean it up. And for those that don't know, my driveway is 700 feet long...hehe

Ooh, I didn't know we had state threads!
I'm in Medina (county, not the city). I've been keeping chickens for about three years now, I have nine layers and I tractor-raise a dozen meat birds every 18 mos thanks to my amazingly handy husband - he built both the tractor and the coop, aka Cluckingham Palace.
I'm actually ready to cull my original flock and replace with new layers, so I am trying to decide what new breeds to include.

Lorain County here. Why you wanna cull the original flock? I still have my original hens, and even though they've stopped laying eggs, I've allowed for them to live out their remaining lives with us. I know the feed gets expensive taking care of these "freeloaders" , but we don't mind.

Hi neighbor! I'm in Lorain County, like Knobby is(we've actually met and he is the nicest person!) Are you planning on giving your original layers to someone? I've done that with every flock I've had, gave them away when they stopped laying, with full disclosure that they stopped laying. There are a lot of people that will take them and let them live their lives out. I don't because I have mine for eggs but to each their own
