That would be so awesome if you could check for me...of course, I don't want to take any if she really is not hip on selling them - I know how hard it is to let them go once you've hatched them out!

Thank you for the tips on coops as well! I have a friend that lives in the Berlin area and she has promised me that we can go coop shopping next time I'm up there. She's a very tolerant, non-chicken friend...

I am located in Scottown, Ohio near Huntington, WV. I recently got a 2nd coop built by Tuckers Quality Built Coops out of Pennsylvania. It is so much better built than some of the pre-made ones by Leonard that I looked at. Much better quality and my chickens love it.

Hi everyone! Im new to the thread but glad to be here

I am in Northeast Ohio just west of Cleveland. I have two buff orpingtons, three welsummers, and 16 mixed breed chicks in the brooder. Im in a pretty suburban area so chickens are pretty scarce around here. A question to you all, is there anyone that is near me that could tell me where they get their food. I have been interested in mixing my own but am having a hard time finding bulk grains around here, any advice would be great!

Hello fellow Ohioans!

I am in the Dover, Bolivar, New Philadelphia area, near Tuscarawas. I ended up keeping my large fowl, and I think you members who said you would take them! Hubby has foiled my plans to go all bantam.

Just wanted to let members in Ohio know that I have bantam frizzle cochins, and bantam frizzle Polish and some regular polish chicks right now. They are super cute! I also have some Polish/Cochin bantam mixes that will be frizzle. They're chicks right now, just a week or so old.

Let me know if you would like some chicks! I'm also hatching Buckeyes and they say don't count your chickens before they hatch, so I won't, but I've got some Buckeye eggs in the incubator from my trio. They are show quality birds I picked up from the Ohio National.
