OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hello Buckeyes...I am in Warren county in Southwest Ohio about 1/2 way between Dayton and Cincinnati. I have a small flock of 9 bantam cochins in assorted colors. They are the cutest little things gally-vanting around in my backyard. I am working on a seperate coop for brown egg layers ( don't have any yet, still trying to decide what I want and I love them ALL !!!) Such difficult decisions with chickens as they are all beautiful. So glad to finally be a member of BYC after more than a year. There is truly an amazing wealth of information here. Hope everyone has a good day. Jan

That would be so awesome if you could check for me...of course, I don't want to take any if she really is not hip on selling them - I know how hard it is to let them go once you've hatched them out!

Thank you for the tips on coops as well! I have a friend that lives in the Berlin area and she has promised me that we can go coop shopping next time I'm up there. She's a very tolerant, non-chicken friend...

Stayck1 - I have lavendar guineas that will start laying this year. I should have some keets available late spring/early summer if you want to wait that long. PM me and let me know!

Blessed - I told mom that there was interest if she wanted to part with any of her showgirls.....she didn't say, so in "momspeak" that probably means no...(haha, I'm 48 and she's still talking to me in "momspeak").

Aw! Thank you so much for asking for me! And I totally "get" the momspeak! I don't believe that ever ends :)

So...I'm still on the lookout for some showgirls, Feathered Friends! Also hopeful for some bantam Polish...

I just got my 1st egg yesterday so its going to be awhile before I have any excess to sell. [email protected] has beautiful bantam cochins and has eggs on the auction site here for sale pretty regularly. If thats what you are looking for. I can let you know later this spring if I have any eggs or chicks.
