Newbie here in central Ohio, near Newark, just beginning this whole process of becoming a chicken farmer,

My fiance isn't so impressed, he raised chickens as a kid with his parents, and he says I have no idea what I am in for, but I am so excited!! I am recently enrolled in the craigslist anonymous club: looking for chicken coop building materials for free... although it has really paid off! I will be placing my order for chicks soon from Myer, meats and layers, but am really looking for some Salmon Faverolle chicks before June... anyone know where i can get them?

I'm in northeast Wayne Co, in northeast Ohio. I have more chickens than I care to count, along with guineas, muscovy ducks, and Pilgrim geese. My daughter has ducks, mostly runners at this point in time, and Sebastopol geese.
