OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I hope I raccoon proof my yard but after reading this, I will put the cage up tonight. So much going on here. mechaniaing plumbing friendly aviary that makes water change a breeze, I do it three times a week or more. Installing Uv lights, painting their ladder that will go in the water so they can climb up easily. paint my Koi pnod holding area structure I just build , painting my house and the list can continue

How are your new ducks doing...

South Central Ohio here, Ross County. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. I recently acquired the "flock" of free-rangers that I have wanted since I was a kid. Not much of a flock atm, we ended up with 9 cockerels out of a straight-run of 10 eggs. I've rehomed all but two of the roos and one little pullet (poor girl) and am currently seeking some more pullets/young hens to quell the boys' appetite for the ladies. All that I have been able to turn up locally are bantam breeds so I'd appreciate a heads up if anyone knows where I might source some standard sized birds. I'm not picky, they just have to be good layers, pretty is a plus.

I'm in East Central Ohio & currently have over 50 assorted pullets (all less than a week old) available to choose from. Just check my website in my signature for birds & contact info

Really looking for older birds (15-20 weeks). I am currently tempting fate with two roosters and one hen at about 17 weeks of age. I fear if I do not expand their harem, and quickly, that I may have trouble in the very near future. "Why two roosters?", you ask. I'm INSANE. That's really the only explanation I can come up with. I love them both so much.

Nan, they are donig great. Except, barn mallards would not go in the pen after even digging a nice pond for them with a water fall.
I think I need to give these mallards ( $12 each)to a very very loving home as i feed them water mellon, meal worms, freshly made salads and friend eggs with light oil.
They wont' eat corn any more
