I ordered from Meyers and 3 chicks died within 3 days .. I also ordered with mt healthy and they all did good the same week ... Mt healthy it is for me from now on.

I'm sorry you had issues. But Meyer has really been amazing in my experience. They helped with all kinds of questions I had, helped me change my order several times, added to my order several times, and all the way from. Ohio to California the chicks hatched on the 11th, they got vaccinated, sexed, and shipped and I received them the afternoon of the 12th. Also I'm so Greatful and thank God the chicks are healthy and beautiful! I couldn't have asked for better. I'm sure if you had issues meyer would try to make it right. I was really impressed with their service and stock!

I agree with realsis, sorry you had issues though but all 9 of mine arrived happy and pewping like crazy the day after hatch, Ohio to Massachusetts. I got mine vaccinated and sexed like realsis and all of mine were girls. I got 2 of each breed in 4 breeds and added the free chick option. I had one Barred Rock get pasty butt at 5 days then have it come back the next day (6 days old) and pass away but that was my fault because I had the brooder and bathroom way too warm. Other than than that, mine are great. I got Buff Orpington, Barred Rock, Black Australorp, Easter Egger and my extra chick was a 3rd Buff Orpington and FEMALE. Lucked out with that one. Anyhow, I had a great experience with Meyer. And oddly, I've heard more bad things about other hatcheries than Meyer but everyone's experiences will be different

did you contact Meyer Hatchery about this? They have a guarantee if you have chicks shipped as somethings happen. I'm sorry about your chicks. You need to at least let Meyer know. Glad you did end up with chicks afterwards.

I did not contact them, I have 42 chicks right now ,
so I didn't want to make a fuss. I think I ordered to many anyway. Lol
