I'm coming all the way from Oregon just for this show (well, ok, to visit family too, lol but for this show!) I ordered a BYC sweatshirt and think the name tag thing is awesome.

I just spoke with a Breeder, he is bringing a bunch of birds for me to choose from!

I am showing in the show for the first time too. This should be a great trip!

I'm planning to go, but I'm looking for TWO birds...the whole purpose of my going

I need a Bantam Wheaten Ameraucana pullet/hen and I'm after either a nice Blue or Black BLRW Rooster or hen/pullet.

Anyone know of any breeders of either that will be at the Nationals?

I got a nice bantam wheaten ameraucana pair from a lady here in KY. Im not sure if she is going to Nationals though...
If you dont have any luck, Ill try to track her down...

I am thinking about going not to show birds just to chat and maybe pick a few new birds up.

We will see when does the sales part start? I know I should get there early to get the best birds.

I am going to go and pick up some of those name tags 'Hello My Name is" b/c it doesn't sound like they would be able to get any printed up by the time the show comes around. I will see if I can find a printer around here who would be willing to put BYC member or something like that on it. Only problem is, I would have no idea how to get them distributed to those members who do not have a tshirt or something identifiable on them as a byc member. I am planning on getting up there between 8-9 since I have to leave by 2 to get back home in time for work. I'm not sure when the show opens but I would assume fairly early. I'll have to check the site. Maybe I could make a BYC sign and then put them on a table somewhere. Any suggestions?
