Ohio National!!

I just got my entry form in but haven't got around to booking a room yet, that could be a problem lol. I just got back from Frankenmuth Fowlfest and my turkey got best Junior Turkey and one of my Mille D'uccles got R.B. in the Open class and another Mille got R.B. in the Junior class. Im pretty exceited for the Ohio show it's huge and there are alot of opportunities to learn alot. Hope to see some people there.

Luckily we only live about 40 minutes away from the show!! I have never been there before, I am sooooo excited!! I am not going to show anything but I would like to buy some hens, does anyone know if these are high priced birds??

I live near Indianapolis, so about 3-3.5 hours from Columbus. Would chickens deal well with being transported that far?

RickiHupp - there are all price ranges of birds. It is a big show with lots of poultry and a large sales area.

It has been several years since we went to nationals. My girls are 13 and 16 and I thought they out grew the chicken scene. But just last week the older of the two asked me when nationals were, she said she wanted to get some chickens and start showing again. Then we had a long conversation about how much fun the nationals were and how well ran the show was. So it looks like we will be seeing all of you there. The girls are looking forward to showmanship.

The APA Nationals are in Ventura this year and the ABA Nationals are in Florida in January.

Just wanted to bump this up and see who all is going to attend. We're going (me, DD, DDBF and my DBF) and we are so excited! Our first show ever of any kind. Planning on taking lots of pics and adding to the wishlist.
