Ohylimes chickens :)! Chickens in California Backyard.

I decided to try making another nesting area or sleep area incase they forget how to go back in their house. Sometimes i find them on top of their house

Annnnddd New babbies!

Lavender americauna or easter egger, black copper maran and forgot last breed.... D:
Ill try to get nicer picture tomorrow morning

I had to give the black copper maran back because she forgot she was keeping them until she can figure out which ones was from her hen. But she will be giving me one after :)! I also confirmed that the yellow one is an amberlink hen and the lavender chick is an ameracauna that she gets from a breeder :O!

We also found a random chick in the yard. Prob from a flighty mama hen we found on the roof one day. But the chick is just running wild so decided to take it in :)! excited!

My rooster has been picking on my dog more and more. And the other day they drew blood. Not sure if it was chicken or dog blood. But a few days later the rooster has a swollen wattle on his left side of his face. Besides that he looks healthy and the same. The wattle is just swollen and round... should i let him be for a few weeks or is there anything I can do?

Yay! My boyfriend had some spare time and he made my chicken run a little nicer and twice as big! He still has to patch the new roof he made a little better and its still hopefully moveable with around 4-5 people. The babies sleep in the hutch at night. And during the day the big chickens get to roam outside while the babies run around inside :)!

The area I live there arent that many predators, just cats so my dog chases them away. And then the chicken pushes the dog into the pool.

The baby chicks are all grown up :)!! Can anyone tell if they are boy or girl?
Amber link is the white one is guarantee girl. The middle is a Lavender Ameracauna, and the right is a mystery baby.

Heres another picture. I think i got lucky and they're all hens, but thats what I thought last time too lol. More pictures soon! there so pretty :)

They all look mostly female but each breed differs. There is the comb that goes from the beak up the face between the eyes. Using that tale tell sign you could have two males but I don't have a lot if experience with various breeds so I can not really say. I raise Americaunas
