I ended up with some extra roos and I like them both so much that moved them up to my horse barn. They are living like a couple of bachelors and are quite content with each other. Not everyone can find a separate place but if you can it is a pretty workable solution. I'm wondering if I will be able to add to the group if I end up with more extras that I don't want to give up. Guess I'll probably try it and see what happens when the time comes.

I like the frizzle myself, but you may want to try to sell him, as he is really pretty and would have a good shot at going to a nice home.

Keep them both until one becomes a problem, then get rid of that one. It would be terrible to get rid of one now, then have the keeper turn out to be mean.

I agree, seven hens for 1 active Roo isn't that many. And what happens if something happened to #1 Roo. You would be without a Roo. So as long as they get along I would keep both.

Now, if the Frizzle is chasing and the hens aren't wanting to play with him. Then they aren't accepting him as daddy material. In this case you should probably just drive down the road and toss him over someones fence. Wait, let me get you my address, just beep your horn. I'll be right out to fetch him.
