I have moved my 3 week old (4 weeks old in 2 days) outside, the things is it's getting down to 26 tonight, but I have a heat lamp on them along with a towel on one side to insulate. Inside on the side, not under the light, it's 65 degrees, I'm waiting to get a reading on directly under the light. I'm wondering if they'll be ok. They almost all have they're feathers, and it doesn't seem like they're huddling and they're not peeping really loud.

They should be ok. Chicks can handle more than you might think. Even if they get a little cool they'll cuddle up together under the light and stay warm. Mine are 6 weeks and completely off any light and out in the coop. They seem to do great, I'm sure yours will too!

In my experience, if a chick is 80-90% feathered, it’s ready for the outdoor world! They produce a lot of body heat and should keep each other warm just fine, as long as they’re not in the wind or rain. Eat lamp may not even be needed, but especially with that they should be golden! Do what you think is best of course :). Doesn’t hurt to pamper them a bit!
