I have a hard time decideing which end is which on perfectly oval eggs. Is there a definitive way to tell? or are they considered misshaped and should not be used for incubating?

what breeds are your chickens that these are coming from? and how old/young are they? my bantam polish tends to lay little 'torpedoes' and she is still young. candling them would be the easiest way to see the air cell to tell the end that goes up in the tray/turner.

There are just collected. They are very fresh and I don't see an aircell but could just be my untrained eye. I'll keep checking. I have gotten them from all my breeding groups but mostly from the Cochins and Barnevelders. BCM and BLRW have them but less often.
