OK girls...tell me what you would do if your DH did this to you!

IME, if I have to ask myself that question, the correct answer is *invariably* that it would be BEST to just let it go.

Doesn't mean I always succeed of course

My DH thinks he knows everything and it is very difficult for him to admit when he is wrong.<snip> My friends tell me I SHOULD make him pay because he tried to make me look like I didn't know what I was talking about in front of them.

Seems to me you both have the same feelings here - you do not want to look stupid/wrong in front of others. (Well, at *all*, in fact

If YOU had been wrong, would you want HIM rubbing your nose in it, just to remind you of the fact and to try to get you not to disagree publicly or tenaciously with him in future?

You can find some other mechanism by which to get rabbit cages, I am certain

JMHO from someone married to the same sort of person, and having learned the above lesson by not always making the right choice

That is what I was thinking, "If the tables were turned."

And MOST of the time when we make our 'bets' I am wrong and I always pay up.
When he is wrong I usually just take his ---OOOH I was wrong--- and let it go.

BUT the thing that is different this time is that he really was arrogant and almost dare I say MEAN about it.

THANK YOU ALL! I am going to make him pay up!

Besides I do all of the cooking and butchering of the rabbits and chickens and he LOVES the meat.

OOH And Miss Prissy....

Your insights on other unrelated topics have had him say..."She really knows her stuff. We should do it."

I cannot WAIT TO TELL HIM YOU bothered to reply to my post! (you really are my Guru!)

I am about to make myself look really stupid here but oh well....here goes. I thought the medicated feed was to prevent cocci (ummm....not sure if that is spelled right) which is NOT something they are vaccinated for. Therefore, the medicated feed would serve a completely different purpose from the vaccinations and still be a good idea???

McMurray for one does have a vaccination for cocci. I got my chicks vaccinated so I wouldn't have to feed medicated starter. Check their website if you want further verification.

That is true, but is that what the OP got her chicks vaccinated for?
