Ok I am at a total loss now

Sounds like they are molting and around my place they can molt even in the winter, i have birds all different ages that molt at different times of the year.
I am sure they will be fine just takes some along time to go threw a molt but they look so beautiful when it is finished.

Well it has been a few days and it is really looking like molting now.
Poor nakie chickies.
I have stopped the scratch all together and have changed the treats to ones high in protein.
I am only giving treats every other day now as well.
So far for treats they have had
Scrambled eggs x5 and Tuna mixed together
Scrambled eggs x4 mixed with 1/4 cup oatmeal and 1/2 cup steamed peas (Trying to bulk the mass out some so little Ducky gets a bit too.)
I tried separating her to give treats so she would get some that way. No dice. she freaked out being segregated.

Still getting lots of eggs and all are still eating, drinking and acting normal. Just look awfully shaggy.

Gave them a refill on the dust bathing area at about 9 am and they are still in it.
I mix Peet, ash, sevin and DE together.
