Not trying to be mean to the responders here, but come on...when did BYC become grammar/punctuation school? Really. Yes, people could "learn to use paragraphs" and only capitalize proper nouns, blah blah blah...but who made you the grammar police?? I read it just fine and was an english major in college. This poster is trying to tell a story, not write a bestselling novel. I would like to commend the op for having the courage to post at all when he or she must know that they may be picked apart, not for the content of their message, but rather for the capitalization included therein. Is this really how we show each other support in stressful times?
OP: my suggestion would be that the next time these dogs show up, "detain" them, if you will, until animal control arrives. You're not being a bad neighbor for wanting your pets to be safe.

Since you live in broken arrow oklahoma I would gladly come take care of those dogs for you since you dont feel it in your heart to do so. Any dog that shows agression to a adult or child has no place here on this earth. if its not protecting whats his shoot it. if you find animal controlwont do anything for you. and the owners wont get them under control. I will come trap them and remove them from your property. Long as you dont ask any questions bout em. send me a PM if ever need to. and dont let anyones comments or Soft insults ever keep you from posting here. theres one in every bunch.

Latest is the stupid pit coming OVER the fence. In the corners, weasels up, we think so we've put up blocks to stop that. Neighbor happened to be home for lunch and saw the dog was in our yard through the one area that is chainlink (faces front) and came ang got him out (and left our gate open TYVM) while I was trying to navigate the Animal Control automated system.
But when the bite happened we did take pics, of the dogs out and the bite, we did forward them on to the official Bite Investigator... and all the dogs, biter and the other two who were not biters, were all home on the same day. The owner is the gal who was originally on the lease next door, supposedly trying to find another place, yada yada... these FOUR people all had to go in together in order to rent the house next door... so odds are they don't have tons of cash laying around to pay for an expensive insurance policy, on top of the fees to get the dogs out AGAIN (they increase each time), and the extra fees for release, license, etc if the dog had been declared dangerous. Can't get any straight answer from AC, but my guess is that they did not declare this animal dangerous... that they only do that in severe cases... and that biting one measly person in their own yard wasn't serious enough for the description. Just my theory, and hopefully different in your town, but here the dangerous dog codes only apply to those dogs that AC has ruled as officially dangerous.. MY opinion doesn't count. I've got nothing against the other two, they bark, but so do mine. But an attacking animal has NO place in a neighborhood like ours, with adults AND children who actually sit, play, walk in their own yards.
Talk to the neighbors and get EVERY statement you possibly can. Note every animal harassed OR injured OR killed. Note every time they've been out. Pictures help too. Show a history of violence and "at large". Give them the evidence, so much of it that they have no choice but to act.

I am so sorry for the loss of your hen, very sad to lose them
maybe you could run hot wire? My neighbors dog ( whom I love) came over and ran circles around my coop barking like mad at my girls...I grabbed my sons cap gun and ran at him firing it like crazy....( shaking my head thinking about how stupid I must have looked) but it worked! It scared the poop out of him and he has never done it again. I would SSS if I had to, I hope you find a resolution...Good Luck to you

Easy Peasy, trap those suckers, take them to animal control tell them they have been ON you, your child, and your livestock, you cant allow dogs running at large to harm you, your family or animals, and you want them destroyed.
(anyone who has ever read any of my posts KNOWS I am an animal freak, but I will NOT allow my animals to harm anyone or anything, and I expect others to do the same around me, I am a foster home for the SPCA, I do all I can to help strays etc.. in my area. but I can not and will not allow vicious animals around here)
