You're not stupid; your silkies are just making you think that! They have mind bending powers that they use to make your life miserable!

Or.......maybe those are silkie eggs and needs to be hatched to increase the evil silkie army, but no one wants to sit on them because the other hens know the evil behind those fluff so the roo doesn't have a choice but to keep them warm.

Chickens can be weird sometimes(which makes them great pets) but don't push yourself.

I also have a question about silkie roos.

I too have a splash roo that is deffently of breeding age but the only thing he wants to breed is my Sultan Roo which is DEFFENTLY a ROO. The silkie is always on top of him pinning him to the ground, dancing to only him, the works. The Sultan Roo is HIS. I have silkie hens of age and layers in the same pin. IS THERE HOPE HE WILL SWITCH BACK??
