it's getting worse....i am eating my supper at my computer desk....when my son got on the computer when he got home from school I told him to get off cause I needed to get on and look at chickens.....OH MY GOODNES! I NEED HELP....

I tried swearing off BYC because I was starting let my house chores go(but hey, I kept my BARN clean!!) Anyhoo, I gave up, I sit and have coffee with BYC'ers on my mornings off, and on those days, I have lunch with them too, I'm such a chicken FREAK!!!
And let me add..when I'm on late at night, I get ENVIOUS of all the people out West that are three or more hours behind because they have more time left on the computer!!! Maybe I should just stop going to bed.....

I have joined this club too! My DH just told me that he thinks I am addicted, well.....DUH!!!!!!!!!!! Did you not see the chicken coop in the front yard?!

I sit down here for just a "few" minutes, look up at the time and realize its been an hour and a half!!!

It's funny because it is about the chickens, but then it ISNT about the chickens, I love the people I meet on here so much I post where I can in hopes of running into the favs.... ADDICTED!

you cant stop...dont even try.
DH walks in the office and asks me what I'm doing...I always say "chicken stuff".
I never log out, and we have 5 computers in the house that are on the internet...all of them are logged into BYC all the time....most morning if I am not outside with the chickens drinking my coffee, I am sitting here, and almost every evening I sit here with my bottle of wine and crackers and type and read and drink......I seldom leave my house, and this is the most adult interaction I ever get...and the best part...its all about chickens (to some degree).
Just go with it, dont try to resist....you arent hurting anyone, and hey....you might learn something.
yeah yeah....so my house could be a little cleaner...but my chickens are happy, and that makes me happy, and what makes me happy makes my family happy!
