Ok, couldn't let it be, had to try.....
#1 is a black rumpless/clean faced araucana (if he is one of the full size birds) and he is a nice clean black, many had bleed through but he is nice. He came from Birch Run Farm.
#2 is a blue and red rumpless/tufted aruacana and he does have a few feather sprigs on the tail but is indeed missing the last vertebrae which makes him rumpless. He came from Gary (geareduplyn)
#3 is a lav project ameraucana that hatched with an incorrect comb. He came from Harry(shaffer).
#4 looks like the araucana that was with the lav? same size? if so it is a true araucana that also came from Harry
#5 is a wheaten ameraucana that came from Jean last year, he did not hatch like that, I had a faulty brooder setup which ended up breaking some toes. I had tried vitamins but nothing worked, they were just broken and healed that way.
#6 hatched with the blue/red araucana I got from Gary. I think he is mix colored which is why his legs are that color.
#7 looks exactly like some EE's I hatched but don't think you got any that young from me?
any more questions send me a pm or even an e-mail since I get those more frequently
eta- I have found that unless an araucana breeder exhibits their birds many have mixed color flocks which is why the leg color/feather color don't match standard, but they are indeed still araucana..
also, getting a NICE tufted/rumpless, correct color legs, no bleed through is darn near the hardest thing with this breed. They also have the lethal gene associated with the tufts so it is not an easy breed.....
