ok ....
referring to the 2nd picture....of your first pic post
i would say the one on the nesting box is a buff brahma or a mix of it?
the one all the way to the right on the ground looks like a golden laced wyandotte

eta: now they look more like buff orpingtons in these new pics you have....but with those black tails, im gonna say a mix of something.....mayb brahma/orp?

Feathered feet with Brahmas are not always a 100% guarantee in a mix. I have several Light Brahma x Black Australorps that did not have feathers on their feet.

Oh no...mine were black and ironically, my buff orp x Light Brahma cross came out white with the same markings that yours has.

SO....I'm betting that there is a columbian marked bird in their lineage. If it were a Brahma, the combs would not be that clean single comb that we're seeing. Perhaps Columbian Rock? Wyandotte?

I just had a thought!!!!

They could be sex links! I have a buff hen that looks like she is a buff brahma!! Only she is not a brahma. She is the result of a New Hampshire Red rooster with a Delaware hen! She has yellow legs, black tail, and Columbia marking. It is just a thought.
