Ok laugh at me! Egg handling mistake:)

This afternoon when I checked the chickens I saw the last egg of the day. I just grabbed it and put it in my POCKET

I've done it before ignoring the wise advice here on the BYC. Before heading back to the house I bent down to pick up the feed scoop. I heard a slight pop and froze as the warm sticky egg leaked down my shorts and into my shoe. I bet I won't do that again.

forgetting an egg in your pocket is easy to do. Especially when you go outside for 1 or 2 things and bump into 6 more that need to be done. Or just as you enter the house the phone rings and all the outside stull leaves your brain.

Everytime I read these posts, I think of the I Love Lucy episode where she had her overalls stuffed full of eggs and Ricky hugged her.

I've done something similar only the egg didn't break until I put the sweatshirt in the washing machine... took me a couple seconds to figure out where all the eggshell came from when I went to move clothes into the dryer...
