Not a one. Not one lazy egg. But it's so darn cold I guess the girls all need a break. I don't know how many I have total, about 15 that were laying over the summer and probably another 20-25 that are old enough to lay.
It's quite frustrating to go through 1/2-3/4 of a bag of food a day and still have to buy eggs
None of this info is pertinent unless we know how many hens you have at laying age!
Update to the four I got this morning, later on this afternoon I had four more, and then two tonight when I locked the coop up, so that's a total of ten out of fourteen hens. I'm not even sure all fourteen are laying, the highest amount I've gathered so far is eleven.
Usually ranges between 2-4 a day...today 2. I don't think they appreciate being snowed in. Three of my EE's are 22 weeks 3 days and no eggs yet from them.....hopefully there will be a present for me in thier nesting boxes in a couple days.
