16 eggs from 19 hens-finally the last of the May 16th hatches have begun to lay.
6 are Silver Sangled Hamburgs and they have taken so long and they are "flighty" I was ready to give up on those freeloaders!
My sister came over and my son and I let her gather-it is fun everyday!
3 of the girls let her watch them "think real hard" and put the hay in "just the right spot" and then brag about it
I love my hens!

Thats right! Just 1! If the other 4 start laying soon, maybe it will be more! at least this one lays daily (or almost daily)!
