OK ... lets have an EGG COUNT

10 pullets, 8 eggs again today. No heat, no light in the coop. Blizzard conditions the last 3 days with high temps of 12 degrees, lows of -5 and wind chills of -15 to -40 degrees.

It makes checking on them every 2 hours worthwhile.

4 Girls and this morning 3 eggs, one more to come maybe.

Yesterday - full house for the first time I got 4 first thing.

They are all youngsters, so I just so proud of all their efforts.

UPDATE !!!!!!!!

Just picked up number 4.

All of my girls are Black Rocks, but Sarah is very different to the others, she has a very ginger head and necks and instead of being black she is grey from her neck down, the others have blue/ black bodies with a little golden feathering around their necks, she was the last to lay again today, and her eggs are lighter brown too. But she is the real character amongst them, a real prima donna. lol... even down to the delay in laying with the others.

She is also the one that trashes the coup kicks all the wood shavings around and I have used newspaper to line an old milk crate they stand on to look out, and she throws it out every day....lol.

The ring leader.
