38 chickens, zero eggs

still waiting for my girls to start laying! 7 of them are five months old, I'm hoping anytime now... although the days are so short, don't know if they'll wait for it to get lighter before starting!

2 Eggs. And they were layed FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

Out of 5 hens only 2 are laying!!!!!!

And one of my Barred Rocks is STILL being Mama to her four FIVE MONTH OLD BABIES!!!!!!!!!

I'm can't stand it!!!!!!

I had only 1 egg from the chickens and I had to buy a dozen of gross store bought eggs. So I had to cook a gross store bought egg and the only egg from the flock for my Breakfast. All I can tell you is that the GREEN egg from Blueberry is Number #10 when it comes too taste. I can't wait until Spring. I have about 6 pullets that'll start laying soon. Then I'll have 11 or 12 hens laying.

9 eggs today . 63 eggs in 12 days , 17 hens , 29 weeks old. This is so much fun

2 eggs today out of 9 pullets. Only 4 are old enough to lay. Most days I do get 4 eggs. I think the cold and snow deters them. It would me!

I agree, this is fun.
