Cyn, I think that is the perfect answer! I had not considered that one.

I think I will put the peanutbutter frosting on the devils food cake I made and use the penuche icing on the spice cake!

This is the link to my Applesauce Spice Cake recipe...there is a frosting there that I have not tried. I topped my cake with vfem's caramel apple jam.
