I am perplexed on the fact that my bantam roo is able to "reach" my big girls.....but thanks to the pics of "fertilized eggs" my EE eggs are fertile

I am still amazed that this could even take place. He is so "small" and the girls are so big. As big as they could be at 21 weeks. I caught him standing on "her" back with a beek (sp?) full of her head feathers. Then she kicked him off. Who would have thought that chickens could be such fascinating things. I love my chickens

Our roo is bigger than the girls, but I can guess that is why the roo grabs their necks! To keep them from getting away!!!
