Ok my excuse for being up at this time is........

I was always a night owl myself. It took a while for me to get used to working days. I was never an early riser. The only way I got use to days was getting up the same time every day even days off. Working nights, I can sleep in a little on my off days without a problem.

33% of people go through a period in their life where they become "Night owls" for most this ends at the age of 22 or close to that, for a few its a life long thing

I'm in the Fletcher/Arden area, Mayberry...western NC. I'm unfamiliar with Mount Airy--where is it?

Thanks for the clinical term, Barg

That is exactly my problem. I have the night owl habits with an early wake up call, unfortunately. I've always been more active and alert at night and a walking zombie during the day until about mid afternoon. Even if I only got a couple hours of sleep the night before and had been walking around half asleep most of the day, by the time 5 rolls around, I perk right up and can't sleep again. Ah, well, I read a report a few weeks ago that said night owls had less stress and lived longer lives. We should consider ourselves the lucky ones!

I fell asleep about 2:30 hubby doesn't know he kept me awake. I went and ordered 6 dominiques and 6 more RIR pullets.

My natural body clock would have me sleep from 3/4am- noon.........if I didn't have kids!

I never scheduled any college classes until at LEAST 1pm because I knew I would never make it! Then I got married and had kids and the schools just *whine* if you bring them in everyday at noon

so I had to adjust!

DH is a total morning person (like 5:30 am-- not kidding!) so it is interesting...

We are in exactly the same situation, just reverse the sexes, my wife is a morning person too, 5:30 is about right for her, and 3-4 am is about right for sleep time for me, although i dont mind staying up till 6 or 7 am either usually.
I just dont have that option.
