Ok my excuse for being up at this time is........

My hubby gets up at 3:30 am that is his alone time. He leaves for work around 5. I get up around 8.

Last night my momma hen Belle decided it was time to go back in with the big girls in the coop after free ranging. So in she went 3 babies right behind her. All the big girls were already on the top roost. Other bantam Lucky on bottom roost alone. So Belle finally makes it to the top roost between Lucy and Lily[golden comets] the BRs she was trying to get by chased her down several times. When I last checked them at 10:30 pm the 3, eight week olds were on the bottom perch with Lucky. So now I am worried about what will happen when it gets light. They have all been free ranging together and so are not total strangers. But as you all know we worry about the silly birds like they are our children.

Haha, I do that too. Then I think of actually getting ready for bed and I get lazy. lol

I'm on call tonight with the local rescue squad. I'm up so late because I know the second I lay down, a call will come through. That's what happened to me last night and I wanted to cry! lol My graduation party was yesterday and I had been EXHAUSTED! It was four am by the time I went to bed! I hope tonight isn't that way...
