Yes, I have one suggestion. You might wanna make one for your very dear friend who lives close enough to you in Southwest OK to pick it up....You know your friend who really really loves you alot and thinks you are just wonderful....

One ever so slight critique which I hope is constructive is I can see how hatching babies could poo on or gunk up the eggs beneath them in a staggered hatch. I'm not sure you built it with that purpose in mind but you might want to consider adding some kind of barrier if you plan on having eggs below at hatch time.

You did a spectacular job, you should be proud!

Well Al...theres nothing I can say that everyone here hasn't already said except that I've never hatched eggs! What great craftsmanship. What I do want to know is, what do you do with 120 chicks when they hatch? Surely if you do that many regularly you'd end up with more chicks than you could realistically feed. Do you sell them? Eat them? There are many people here who hatch eggs but what do you do with all the babies? Sorry, don't mean to hijack.

I am planning on starting a selective breeding program this year for some breeds I really am interested in, any chicks that do not meet the standard will be sold to various entities, IE- local folks, I have an Auction outlet close by my home, farmers markets. the incubator actually will hold 240 eggs if brought up to capacity.

I plan on laying down some of that white open celled foamy shelf liner stuff to help reduce any hatching chick mess. yes I have thought of that, but it shouldn't be too bad.
