Ok so this is the plan!

We have an old barn in back yard,just used for a bit of storage but it has holes all in it. Hubby is going to partition off the part from the door on the right over to make a chicken coop. He is planning on putting plywood over the sides inside because of all the big cracks. He then is going to attach a pen where we can walk into the pen and open the barn door during day time so they can go outside. Here is the pictures of it today

Great! You should really be able to do something with that once it's draft proof. Are you going to have a run?

He says he is making a chicken run to attach to the side where we can just open the door from barn and it goes right out into the run so we can leave the door open during daytime. We are new to this so any tips are welcome.

My husband built a screen door out of 1x4 framing and chicken wire which has also been helpful. We started with a garden storage shed.
