OK to process birds that are on medicated feed

I suggest that you read and follow the witdrawal requirements as specified on the feed bag.

Do they sell organic food in your area? I know its more expensive but it might be an option. I feed my chic's one bag medicated ( 50 lbs) to start them off, then switch to non medicated.

Another option is 22% protein or lower game bird feed not as expensive as organic ( almost double $) and you should be able to find it. You could mix that with cracked corn for finishing to lower the cost.
