Dancing Bear is right. I have had eggs hatch as late as 5 days after the scheduled hatch date. Day six is when I generally discard eggs that didn't hatch.

My brooder is quiet. All my new babies are sleeping. Rotisserie Chicken has switched from flipping to his back to sleeping on the thermometer with his head on the brooder floor. What a little dork! He's along the left side of the brooder, about half way up in this picture.

2 light Brahmas out, one pipped big, one gold lace Cochin zipping and a white egg,maybe a silkie? pipped!

Yup the white egg is a silkie and the other egg marked silkie is pipping!

So I have 3 light Brahmas one gold laced Cochin and a silkie so far!!! Not including the pipped silkie!!!
