I’ve been storing my unwashed eggs in the garage for up to a week before taking them into work for coworkers. It’s above freezing but is it okay to store them that cool and then take them inside (to work or the counter) from there?

The problem with moving eggs from cold to warm is that condensation can form on the shell, which can feed any bacteria present.

So if my coworkers don’t want refrigerated eggs I should bring them into the house for the few days I keep them before taking them to work? We have a wood burning stove and it stays 70 inside and I thought that might be a little too warm?!
