PC, air temp is going from 99 to 100.......the wiggler is stead at 99 now..............

Edited to add........... PC. you mentioned location of air thermometer location..............where should it be..........and mine is a 2 or so inch one and sits on top of turner under window nearest the motor for turner.........will it affect the turner turning?

Sounds like temps are ok.


The turner is always on and takes around 6 hours to make a complete
swing from left to right. Make sur it is working by watching the tops of
the eggs every hour. It should be obvious that they turned. The turners
motor should also be very hot.

Condesation on the eggs should not happen. That probably isn't condensation
bu moisture or seepage from the egg. Is it just a few eggs or all of them.
If humidity is to high you will see condensation on the windows.
SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT THIS PLEASE JUMP IN.


You don't have to write things down. You do have to post here often so I'm
not having an anxiety attack worrying about you having an anxiety attack.

The first hatch is always stressfull.

One other note. Flukers makes a $5 humidity guage. I have one of those
in my Brinsea along with 2 $25 Flukers digitals & the Brinsea wet bulb.

The analog reads the same as the wet bulb (most accurate).

I'm gonna make a post about this so others catch it.

Ok,quick note

I will remove the one egg with moisture on top of it...... temps still holding, I am busy busy trying to get as much done with critter pens while roomies are home......... I will also watch to see if turner is doing its thing and get back on here soon pc......would want us BOTH to have attacks.........thanks for all your help !
