Well, I thought I had my brooders and grow out cages finally empty but the day before I put my keets in the pen lo and behold two eggs I had in the bator hatch. I gathered these in the hottest part of the summer and they were in the nest for a couple days before I gathered them. looks to be more Obrahma's guess I need to move my orp hen to the pen with my cockerel and get her away from my Brahma roo. btw the Brahma roo I bought at Blanchard last month is as tall as my 1 1/2 yr old roo and is coloring out nicely, sickle feathers just now growing out, he's gonna be my main breeding roo. I still can;t believe what I paid for him at the auction the hens I got with him are also going to be better than the ones I already had. will try to get pics soon.
