Little peachick died. Guess she wasn't strong enough. Didn't even live long enough to fluff out in the incubator! So sad. Hope we have lots more peachicks to come next season.

HI every one .... Matt dog is doing good love's to hunt..
Went over to some peep's house today an they gave me some roo's ..they bot at attwood's as chick's I gave thim 2red hen's in trade..
They had one drake duck ther daughter wonted 5 buck's for so i bot it i ask her how she new it was a male she said it had a curl in it;s tail..
Man i sure injoyed the day it was so nice ..Any one going to Blanchard sale this coming sat look's like it will be great weather for a chicken auction..
Talked to Jerry aka Auction Lover...He said he was going down thursday to pickup a load of stuff at Barnswallow's to take to the sale for her,,

Well, I thought I had my brooders and grow out cages finally empty but the day before I put my keets in the pen lo and behold two eggs I had in the bator hatch. I gathered these in the hottest part of the summer and they were in the nest for a couple days before I gathered them. looks to be more Obrahma's guess I need to move my orp hen to the pen with my cockerel and get her away from my Brahma roo. btw the Brahma roo I bought at Blanchard last month is as tall as my 1 1/2 yr old roo and is coloring out nicely, sickle feathers just now growing out, he's gonna be my main breeding roo. I still can;t believe what I paid for him at the auction the hens I got with him are also going to be better than the ones I already had. will try to get pics soon.

jcat if the p.fowl keep laying do you think the egg's will hatch this time of yr being the male's have lost ther tail's now i no you said that you read up about thim on the net..
I didnt no if it would be worth safing any of the egg's now or not..

Think im going to have to sell some of these tom turkeys. I almost sure I have 7 toms and only 5 hen. but they are sure good looking birds this year.

I was at okracefan's new place today workig on his water pump and lines. tomorrow he gets his sewer system in then things will speed up getting his new place liveable. The pond he has is nothing but a water hole now, he saw 4 dead catfish this morning, guess we should have been fishing rather than working these past few weekends.
