Lets pick a date and see who all would like to attend. Could be a good excuse for a get together over a grill and some good ole pot luck.. Would make for a better show season for several youngsters.

Sounds great! We have a Cheerleading jamboree Sept 24th. Nothing else showing on my calendar except the days I am suppose to lock down eggs. Our schedule is pretty flexible. Anyone else want to join in???

Robin we had a cross beak EE it was DD favorite until a predator took it. She would buy any cross beak she could find if she had it her way.

she reminds me of a queen the way she walks around with her head high, looking at the subjects...

so the babies are doing good?

You need to keep the beak trimmed back as much as possible, and a deep bowl of food for it that will allow it to dip its beak and scoop up food. It depends on how bad the cross beak is.

I have a confession to make

It started out so innocent but I let it get to far... and for that I am sorry..

They flirted with me and said nice things and well the heart wants ... what the heart wants... please dont be angry but please understand I really didnt plan for it to go this far.. but you see I have to leave you.... just remember the heart will go on.......

Yep! The NN's are still in their big dog crate unless I can watch them, they're too bossy for the Cochins lol The 2 Cochin bantams are fitting right in. They're all such wonderful people-birds! Not scared a bit and eager to get picked up. They said to tell you peanut butter & jelly sandwich crusts are their new favorite food
