Evening folks! Just got home from being at daughters house watching the OU game! Sooner Boomer!
Disappointed we didn't get to run back to Ok this weekend. SIL had been fussing wanting MIL home for past three weeks so we get ready to take her back this weekend and she whines no not yet I'm not ready yet! augh! Talked to my niece and she made it down to the Green Country meet. She had a great time and came home with 17 new chickens! She said everyone had a great time despite some morning rain. Said she saw lots of really nice birds. From the pics she sent ,hers were sure nice! Sorry I couldn't make it Joe. Hope it went smooth for ya and you had a great time.
Went to our local sale barn this morning. It was the last sale there. The property has sold and it will be torn down. Auctioneer is moveing it to a new temporary location. Hate to see the old sale barns go away. This one had been in business for over 50 years.
I came home with a new harlequin buck rabbit and another chocolate muscovy hen. Spent the afternoon rehanging the three rabbit cages in another place and putting the chicks I put out yesterday back inside before the cold rain gets here.
Faerielady you might as well let Michael set you up with a nice selection to start with. I'm sure he can come up with a nice variety of different breeds. A good variety of nice hens is a pleaseing sight to watch in the winter afternoons and comets rocks, reds and dottes all make good layers.
