***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Farei The bantam eggs are only about half the size of a regular store bought egg. I usually use two for one.I make sure mine have the beard and ear muffs before they can be used as breeders ,same goes for blue eggs,altho there is a wide range of blues. Because of the mixed color being allowed (which is why I call mine ee instead of aracunas) the chicks are some of the prettyest you will see. They are always great sellers as chicks!They are seriously broody and will lay very well. Usually they lay all winter then come spring and summer they want to set. I highly recommend them as a breed for anyone. Hope I have convinced you to try them. If not I will send you eggs next spring and you can try them then!lol

Brought MIL home last evening and had to hurry to get her new prescriptions filled at the Choctaw CVS...pharmacy closes at 6 pm and got scripts in there at 5:58! They got her pain meds and will had the others ready this morning. She had a great night's sleep; partly because she was in her own bed, but partly because there were no nurses getting vitals and intercom messages. She will have therapy over the next few weeks for her back and meds for her ulcer. No bone spurs, just arthritis in the bones.

Hubby and BIL took another load of cattle to market this morning and hubby went to grandson's soccer game. I'm trying to pass a kidney stone. Really need to get out in the garden...but may just sit in the grape arbor with the dogs and enjoy the sunshine and dream of next year's garden....think it will appear when I open my eyes?

I just crawled out of bed at noon. I have a massive headache, sinuses got me. This is the second sinus headache w/crap I've gotten since I quit smoking last year. Big improvement over getting sinus infections every other month. It just slays me that I got this one on a day I have to write another essay. Bah. I should quit procrastinating those, but I don't like the class.

Okla-doodle, I'll have to look into bantam ee's, they sure sound pretty. Sending me eggs wouldn't work since I don't incubate/hatch!

OK, Stephanie and I have come to the conclusion we are going to thin considerably. here is the full list of what is available and needs to leave.

All Large Fowl are leaving:
1 Columbian Wyandotte Rooster, 2 Hens, 1 Pullet
1 Blue Cochin Rooster, 1 Blue Cochin Hen, 1 Black Cochin Hen.

Bantams:
Black OEGB: 1 Rooster 4 hens
White OEGB: 1 Rooster, 5 hens, 1 Pullet, 6 5 weeks old chicks.
Birchen OEGB: 1 Trio, 1 Rooster 2 Hens
Blue Wheaton OEGB 2 Hens
Opal OEGB: 1 cock and up to 4 hens, I have an extra cockrell as well so could be 2 trios.

hey carl, will you be selling the hens seperate from the roo or as a group?
