***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Robin - I'm happy the puff ball turned out to be female. She's really pretty.

Joe - Sorry to hear your lost your blue hen. Sure was a pretty girl.

Good evening peeps,

Beautiful evening tonight but where did the mosquitoes come from? I haven't seen any in months and then I open the door to let the fresh cool evening air in the house and a small swarm floats into the house...ugghh...

MichaelD I put that Buckeye hen in with the rest of the flock today and thought I'd post a few pics for you to see her and ours...(Not as good of quality pics as I've seen on here lately, great job Kassaundra!)

She's make herself at home and standing in the food bowl...2 of my originals looking on...

Here she is (with the leg yellow tags) with more hens and my roo...

Here's some of my pullets, hatched in April, they are the correct color for the breed...the current hens are too light.

Here's a better pic of my roo...he is correct for the breed standard...although he has just started to molt, so he's lost his sickle feathers...

It helps very much. The 2 roos that migrated over from the neighbors years ago are some sort of game roosters but they got along with only 1 hen between them so even if I have to separate those 2 from current roosters I'll still feel like I got out of building a lot of pens.
BanjoJoe-what happened? She was such a pretty girl.
