Okladoodle - thank you for reloading the pictures of the auction. Oklahoma didn't grow a lot of large pumpkins this year due to the drought. I bought some squash and ornamental goards yesterday at the flea mkt. The goose egg gourds are really cool - they are so perfectly egg shaped, I think you could put them in the nest box to encourage the hens to lay in that box. They are about the size of a large lemon.
It is still sprinkling in OKC and it looks like rain will continue for the rest of the day, since the map shows the rain is over Dallas and moving straight up I35.

Wow Bill! I saw that you left the sale early. Good job listening to your intuition! Ever since a wildfire got within 30 yards of our house I have been very sensetive (sp?) about the wind and drybrush, anything related. Am very glad for this rain for many reasons.

Just wanted to say it's good to see you again!
I will be in OKC next weekend & plan to go to Mary's on Sat morning, hope you okie's will turn out so I get to see some of you! I hear that there aren't any auctions so I may try to bring a few that I need to get rid of to give to Michael or sale, whatever he wants to do.
Morning Okies! We've got 19 new chicks so far...4 are the Coronation Sussex we got from Banjojoe...The rest were "home grown". Buckeyes, EE, and OEGB Crele.
We missed seeing everyone last night...Bill, you still doing alright? Couldn't image power poles catching fire, wow!
