Happy belated Birthday Carl

Joe ,Got Game, Poco and others with bird photos...great looking birds.

Canning is something we doo a lot. Keep extra jars in the barn. Always look for extras.

3:12 am and hearing thnunder and now a dog has his nose on my foot wanting to snuggle...scardycat!

I am always on the hunt for more canning jars, I usually buy one at WM & then pick them up here & there. I can always use more.

haven't checked spice yet- hopefully she will be feeling better- could worms cause a hen to go lethargic like that?

A breeder east of here has a boer buck I was interested in, but he had a mishap and won't be breeding any does for a while. That same breeder has a nubian buck, one who is gentle and has fathered many large kids, and his lineage includes some strong milkers. The males will be easily sold for meat, and any females ought to have good milking potential. I may buy a pure bred La Mancha buck in a year or two, or look harder for stud services, but for now the goal is to get my girls in milk.
