***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Mine's the same way. He'd do anything for these birds. He's the one that has liked chickens for as long as I can remember. We had just a few that the neighbors abandoned all these years. They were wild and I never got attached to them but my husband was always messing with them. Then I hatched my own from eggs :-O Nobody told me how much I was going to love them or how bad I'd worry about them. I'll never hatch any again. I don't think I could take the stress.

How is that possible? My does are like dainty flowers that brighten every day [not]. They are always perfectly behaved, never complain, and keep their feet to themselves [double not]. I love them anyway.

You forgot to add that they never try to get out of the fence. I had 5' chain link with a hot wire and they *still one after the other kept getting into the dogs yard in front (& the dogs would kill them). I've seen them BLAAAAAAA'ing their head off getting shocked by the hot wire and still pushing under the fence. Most frustrating animals I ever owned lol

The dehydrator I found today is a forced air unit, and I gotta say if you are in the market for a dehydrator get a forced air one, it is amazing how fast it works. Easily half the time, maybe less.

You should be able to "port" or "transfer" your number if you want to keep it and change providers.
DH doesn't understand "smart phones" or why anyone would want one.

I found a "new" phone like he has had for the past 5 years on eBay, for $25 - which included shipping.

Morning

It's cold and dark out there. Many of the hens don't want to come out yet. I think I'll have a second cup of coffee and then go finish watering and feeing the rest of the flock.

Morning to all my Okie friends! Going to be a beautiful day but rain tomorrow. Looks like we will be heading to Okla tomorrow evening. Gotta go check on MIL.
Going to start work on some A-fram pens today.
Everyone have a great day !

Doodle - Are you going to keep birds in the A-Frames all winter? I've thought about it for my extra (backup) roosters. I have a few who refuse to play nice with other males.
