Wow I just left the quake area earlier! Just finished my stint of driving, got us all the way thru Memphis.only one leg to go.it must have been one of those home video moments when we stopped to change the MIL's diaper! Took all three of us,one to hold a blanket to hide what the other two were trying to do!lol and she was no help bless her heart. It hurts to move the leg that broke . We ended up getting the. Diaper back on but decided the pants weren't worth it so she is covered in blankets now!lol

Sooner tell that Maddie girl contests and great job! We will need to see some picks of the bird and the throphie or ribbons! I bet you are proud, we all are!lol

Sixshooter, I made an A-frame last week from his plans and it turned out great! And was surprisingly easy if your good with a saw and screw gun. I'm going to make several more!

Hey thats what i was hoping Wayne . i have all the tools but dont mistake me for a carpenter i can nail two boards together but not the best at making things square..i guess he has gone to bed for the night.. some people think they need sleep every night...lol

I' not the perfect carpenter either so was surprised that I couldn't make a mess out his plans!lol but it did turn out nice. Much bigger than I thought and will hold several birds great.

I guess they are all asleep so they can be woke up by the next aftershock!lol you would think there would be quakes at places like yellowstone before there were any in Okla

Oklahoma has a geological fault that is North and West of Lawton, so it is curious that we have had two fairly strong earthquakes in the past 24 hours that were centered North East of OKC.

NanaKat - this has been a rough year for you, with droughts and a shortage of hay - and now damage from the earthquake. Hopefully this winter will have weather that refills your ponds without any ice on the trees and roads.

Thank you.P&B. I had to medicate both dogs just to calm them down. Gracie is sleeping, but Red just "quakes" and drools with each aftershock. They are coming very frequently...some every 2 or 3 minutes and some 15 minutes apart. They are coming more frequently now compared to right after the big quake hit....thousght they were supposed to decrease with time. I would take him outside but think if he felt the actual ground under his feet move, he would bolt and I wouldn't find him in the dark.

We are supposed to take three trailer loads of calves to the stockyards in the morning about 35 calves. Saturday, we hauled the herd home from Prague. lots of water from a spring fed pond but no grass. The herd from Paden we brought home Fridy had fescue coming out, but not watr.
Looking forward to those rains. Need a 3 - 4 inch rain that scomes hard and fast in order to fill the ponds. Praying Monday brings a good old fashioned toad soaker.

That was a big aftershock...the house shook again.

Roger said, I don't think we can go to bed...
