For some reason, my post to which you responded was a double post, so I deleted it and they both went away

Yes, my laying flock can easily go through 25 lbs of feed every other day. I have NNs, EEs, black Marans, black sex links and golden comets. Although I don't have any hens that lay a large white egg, the filled egg cartons are very colorful. I call them "colorful eggs from cheerful chickens."

I've got a a frame I'm trying to get rid of. It's 4' wide at the base and 6' long. The sheltered part is just a tin cover but it has wheels for easy movement. If you think that might work for her I'd be willing to work out a trade. Or if you can't/don't want it I'll offer it to anyone else on here.

Now there's a thought. Trading is great. So fifteen roosters equals a chicken tractor, right? He, he, he... Do you have any pictures of the tractor?

Too cool! Neat photos. I can't remember what Joe and I were talking about. Maybe we were telling stories. Regarding the piggy; it was not part of the auction because the auctioneer did not have clearance/authority/licensure to auction animals other than foul. He was, however, able to sell the piggy to anyone who wished to discuss price and haggle a bit. I left before any piggy haggling happened, so I don't know what price it brought. Joe probably knows. I skidaddled out of there around 10:00, and there were still a few birds being auctioned. I wanted to be home before I turned into a pumpkin.
