***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Yep,
I don't care much for shaking ground.. things fall and get all messed up, foundations crack. I will take tornados, wind, hail, that I can deal with. Ah well maybe it's time to really look into moving back south anyway.

My dad thought it was a tornado

it was a high 4 after shoke

Sad when I wasn't sure if it was a quake or tornado @ first!! Storms just rolling in here, they had been missing us all day.

Got to go down to the barn & give the goats a bottle in a few-- I will try to get a pic or 2 tomorrow. Kids are way excited, and both into bottle feeding, figure by the time the week is over the excitement will wear off.

FINALLY getting some rain! Started about 2 hrs ago and has been raining off and on ever since. I was going to go out and check the rain guage, but it's still raining

. Felt the quake too, but nothing compared to the other night. Is anyone going to add earthquake insurance to their policies? I noticed a few cracks in the brick and wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea.... or not.

Heard on tv awhle ago that insurance companies won't be selling ANY earthquake insurance to anyone within a 100 or 500 mile radius of the epicenter--depending on which insurance company--for awhile. Should start again in a few weeks, 'though. We're going to check our policy tomorrow to see if we have it. We changed companies a few months ago, and the policy and accompanying information is very lengthy. Kinda wild feeling another earthquake at the same time we're under a tornado watch!

At that time there was enough close thunder here that I didn't feel that one.

And of course I thought that the cat trying to get into my lap was due to the fact that I was eating a piece of cake at the time!
